Summary:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position where the QAE will regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Automated Tests Create robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Java and Appium to validate the functionality and performance of mobile applications. Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases. Maintain and Enhance Automation Frameworks Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries that support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Ensure frameworks are adaptable to new technologies and evolving testing needs. Expand Test Coverage and Improve Efficiency Continuously assess current test coverage and identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement strategies to increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. Analyze Test Results and Troubleshoot Issues Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance bottlenecks. Work closely with developers and QA team members to diagnose issues, reproduce bugs, and ensure timely resolution. Collaborate Across Teams Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to align testing efforts with development goals. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and user experience. Document and Report Maintain clear documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in software testing and test automation Proficient in Java programming and Appium framework for mobile app testing Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS Familiarity with AWS cloud-based testing platform. Exposure to performance and load testing
