CMM Programmer Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to take ownership of final inspections on all manufactured products to ensure they meet customer specifications. This role involves CMM programming, hands-on inspection, and support of quality systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM), using PC-DMIS or similar software
• Perform detailed mechanical inspections throughout the production process
• Train and support other inspectors as needed
• Maintain and document all inspection, measuring, and test equipment
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products and subassemblies at all required stages
• Follow all relevant procedures for part identification, labeling, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and instructions

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in inspection and quality control in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inspection techniques and quality standards
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Skilled with common measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical comparators, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with CMMs and advanced height gauges like “Micro-Hite”
• Familiar with AS9100 and

ISO 9001

quality systems; First Article Inspection (FAI) experience is a plus

• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work with precision
• Strong math skills and manual dexterity required

$30.00 – $40.00 per hour
