Quality Technician III Job Summary:
Talent Software Services isin search of a Quality Technician III for a contract position inMarlborough, MA. The opportunity will be six months with a strongchance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
Responsible fortesting, calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining various types ofmeasuring and indicating instruments. Duties include setting upcalibration sequences, methods, and procedures based on detailedspecifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Monitor andverify quality according to statistical process or other controlprocedures.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Identify andutilize appropriate measurement procedures. Perform correctiveactions to address identified measurement issues. Adapt equipment,standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
Maintain calibration standards. Ensure the calibration laboratoryis maintained. Interface with customers to determine supportrequirements. Complete all assigned tasks in accordance withrequired procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, andquality requirements. Generate Calibration Investigation Forms(CIF) to monitor the quality of calibration equipment. Evaluate newcalibration methods and procedures. Build quality into all aspectsof work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
Qualifications:
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in arelated discipline and 3 years of related experience.
FunctionalKnowledge:
Applies solid knowledge of the job and applies skillsand knowledge in a range of business/customer/technical processes,procedures, and systems to perform a range of activities and workassignments.
Business Expertise:
Uses knowledge of how the teamintegrates with others to accomplish assigned work and teamobjectives.
Leadership:
Provides informal guidance and support tomore junior team members.
Problem Solving:
Recognizes, defines, andsolves typical problems that can occur in own work area withoutsupervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from existingprecedents and proven processes and may suggest alternatives.
