Job Summary:

Travel to manufacturing and corporate locations to perform onsite audits, lab equipment maintenance and product verification. Perform evaluations for compliance of the manufacturing labs to create and establish policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain the standardization of quality testing activities for state specifications, as well as, outside organizations material standards and test procedures (SAE, ASTM, MIL‐SPEC) Performs and runs individual technical improvement projects in the lab and manufacturing sites to improve quality and measurement. Implementation of new policies and procedures that support the Quality programs including plant quality visits Performs lab‐based testing activities for corporate Quality programs including plant quality visits; Assist with DOT and Customer visits to resolve issues; Perform and complete analytical tracking and trending for corporate quality metrics and reporting. Performs and Coordinates Internal ISO Audits with each North American operations. Maintains that QMS processes are adequately defined and implemented; Performs training to ensure understanding of the ISO program. Establishes and maintains the Internal Audit Schedule and communicates with NA plants and the Corporate office to ensure compliance with the Internal Audit Program. Oversees the document control function as it pertains to the QMS; Job Function The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System and analytical activities for Potters’ Production Labs, in support of North American manufacturing. This position will be the ISO Internal Auditor for the North America operations. Conduct audits onsite and remote for suppliers, warehouse/tolling and third‐party labs; Maintain the bids and online specification system (BOSS). Maintain other in‐house SharePoint systems (CAR,SCAR, internal quality web page, Maintain other in‐house SharePoint systems (CAR,SCAR, internal quality web page, etc.); Stay up‐to‐date with internal and external changes for the Quality Management System compliance. Coordinates with External Auditors compliance with our

ISO 9001

2015 program; Work with lab and testing equipment proficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or GED, College Degree in a Technical Field preferred 5 years relevant experience in Quality, Manufacturing QC or other technical role 5 plus years of Manufacturing Environment Experience preferred Microsoft Office ‐ strong in Excel, Word and Outlook; SharePoint Microsoft Teams ‐ Chats, Calls and Meetings SAP Experience & Power BI a plus Strong attention to Detail and Organization Interpersonal Skills ‐ employees and customers
