Weekend Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and calibrations of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) across the shop, following established setup procedures and methods in direct coordination with leadership. Participate in training on Calypso software for basic troubleshooting, machine recovery, and calibration tasks. Diagnose and resolve CMM system issues; support shift calibration requirements. Cross-train in multiple inspection areas to promote flexibility and ensure coverage of diverse inspection tasks. Contribute to a team-oriented environment that values morale, collaboration, productivity, and high-quality output. Maintain open and transparent communication with supervisors and management regarding any concerns or operational issues. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
Demonstrates high morale, a strong work ethic, and consistently upholds high standards of quality and productivity. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Willingness to cross-train in other departments to gain additional skills and knowledge as needed. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately. Proficient in writing clear and concise documentation. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
