The Tester is responsible for performing flow and pressure testing on nozzles, monitoring gauges for inconsistencies, and conducting visual inspections to ensure product quality. The Tester will accurately document test results, identify and report defects, and take corrective actions when needed. Starting pay is $22 an hour; once you are fully trained and proficient with assembly and nozzle testing, you will be making $26 an hour. We expect this to take roughly one year to complete. Key Responsibilities Successfully run all aspects of nozzle cells (red, yellow, blue, and green) Flow and pressure test all nozzles in all cells (red, yellow, blue, and green) Watch gauges while testing and look for any inconsistencies with the testing standards outlined in the work instructions Visual inspection of the nozzle while pressure testing to ensure there are no leaks Job on and off the job, on the computer. Log your inconsistencies and leaks on the first pass yield paperwork Maintain a steady flow in the cell to meet pitch Catch quality issues downstream in a cell (missing or wrong parts), and take corrective actions when issues arise Complete changeover Notify the lead or supervisor of issues found Other duties may be assigned as necessary What You Bring A strong work ethic and positive attitude Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to stand and move throughout your shift, and lift components as needed Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team Reliability and a commitment to safety and quality No experience required — we’ll train the right candidate!
