Job Description:

•Assist/support the Quality Supervisors/Engineers by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation. Ensure that the product meets customer’s requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues. Report quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages. •

Duties and Responsibilities:

Floor Auditing Task:

_•+ Accomplish in-process inspection of parts, and incoming material from the vendors + Participate in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives to reduce process variation and prevent process and product nonconformities + Measure and analyze key quality performance data + Take responsibility for needed actions to support quality and business goals + Help to maintain quality information records + Must work effectively in team environments, communicating and participating in a constructive manner + Provide Quality support through quality tools to aid in quality assurance of mfg. processes + Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed + Assist with Sorting on hold products + Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by the department •

Technical Expertise:

•+ Experience working with certified quality program (ISO 9001) is beneficial but not mandatory + Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred + 1+ years of mechanical inspection working in a manufacturing environment + Must understand blueprint reading and mechanical inspection methods + Knowledge of quality control plans + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio + ASQ Certification is beneficial, but not mandatory + Ability to multitask and adapt quickly with new technology measurement equipment + Work with GD&T drawings, specifications, inspection and department procedures + Ability to work independently; High level of self-initiative. _Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer._Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
