Characteristics of Work This is a full-time position thatinvolves professional work to ensure effective compliance with theHead Start Performance Standards through ongoing monitoring of datafrom all service areas. Performs work by implementing andmaintaining an ongoing quality assurance and performance process tomeasure, evaluate, and assure the quality and performance of theHead Start program according to the Office of Head Start ReviewMonitoring and the Head Start Performance Standards. Maintains athorough knowledge of Head Start. Work is performed under thesupervision of the President/CEO or designee. The most importantaspect of the work involves monitoring, Galileo input, andmaintenance of records. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in EarlyChildhood Education or related field with two (2) years ofexperience in Head Start/Early Head Start program operations.

Knowledge of community action agencies; comprehensive knowledge ofthe federal Head Start Program, rules and regulations, policies andprocedures related to Head Start Performance Standards; experiencein monitoring, mentoring or coaching, data integration/analysis,community outreach, and programmatic reporting; demonstratedability to exercise a high degree of independence, initiative,tact, and judgment; and ability to communicate effectively.
