Quality Control Technician / 2nd shift 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Burlington, NC 27215 Advanced Personnel Resources is hiring a Quality Control Technician for our client in Burlington. This is a 2nd shift opportunity, temp to hire, paying $18.00 hour. This is a food manufacturing facility, so experience with this would be a plus. 2nd shift = 12pm-9pm Mon-Fri $18/hour Burlington, NC Food manufacturing experience is a plus Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance with industry regulations, including CGMP and FDA standards. The Quality Control Lab Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize various testing methods and equipment, including vision inspection systems and Calypso software, to assess product quality. Document and report findings accurately, maintaining detailed records in accordance with

ISO 13485

standards. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols throughout the production process. Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits by regulatory bodies. Continuously monitor processes for compliance with quality management systems and recommend improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role within a laboratory or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with

CGMP, FDA

regulations, ISO 13485, QA/QC principles, and HACCP guidelines. Proficient in using quality control tools and software, including Calypso and vision inspection systems. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or inconsistencies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members across departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
