00/hr. PrideStaff is recruiting for a Testing Associate for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Black Mountain .

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of complicated functions to test and rework a variety of units. In addition, the successful candidate will handle prototype unit testing while working closely with engineers to produce workable methods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform intricate testing operations involving electromechanical and optical systems for production. Test repair and overhaul units and rework as possible to provide operational units for shipment. Investigate problem areas and recommend new methods for correction as needed. Perform special testing for engineering evaluations. Train other production personnel in methods necessary to assist in production. Work closely with engineering personnel on prototype units to ascertain testing procedures. Perform any duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 years’ experience in assembly, testing or general manufacturing. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with complex assembly operations strongly preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available. Ability to solve a variety of mathematical questions. Basic knowledge of test equipment and other tools including but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, theodolites, signal analyzers, etc. Good visual capability and good manual dexterity in both hands. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. What’s In It for
