About the Role Superior Industrial Maintenance is looking for a Quality Control “QC” Administrator to assist QAQC Manager with various inspections, reports, audits and ensuring projects are in compliance with NACE, AMPP, SSPC and other specifications based on coatings and industrial painting and sandblasting. General knowledge of QC software, worksite safety, painting, coatings and surface preparation is recommended.

Perform QC Inspections:

This may involve entering confined spaces, climbing ladders, etc. This will include completing (4) page QC report to comply with our

AMPP QS-1

Certification. Be able to recognize non-conforming work and Issue non-conformance and corrective actions for work not meeting quality standards. Maintain records of annual Instrument Calibration

• Check due dates, ensure equipment is received from the person its assigned to, file new certificates, update spreadsheet, send equipment back to assignee.

QC Inspections/QC Reports for all field projects and projects also at Superior Concord Shop. Review of specifications/production/scheduling for all projects at Superior Concord Shop Review/Edit QC reports for field projects Maintain calibrations, documentation of all inspection equipment throughout the company (SSPC/AMPP requirement) Documentation of paint inventory at Shop Assure

SSPC/AMMP

QP-1, QP-2, QP-3, QP-8, and QS-1 certifications are in compliance. Perform

SSPC/AMPP

audits as required annually. Audits include reviewing and complying with the QP-1, QP-2, QP-3, QP-8, and QS-1 Checklists. Includes but is not limited to verifying annual training, and providing proof by documentation. Ensure craft worker training is current. Ensure inspectors training, vision test, and certifications are current. AMPP Field Audit

• be familiar with audit process. Review checklists and verify Inspector Credentials are current, Inspector vision test current, Craft worker training current, Annual Training current and documented, Respiratory Protection, Respiratory Fit, Confined Space, First Aid CPR, Etc.; Equipment is maintained
• documentation; Safe Operation Procedures (manuals) for all on site equipment; On site equipment calibrated
• LEL meters, Breather boxes, Inspection Equipment Administrative duties that may include managing QC audit files and software, assisting Project Managers with job set-up and creation, job specification files, customer service and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements Possess technical knowledge to review Product Data Sheets with field coatings teams as needed The candidate must be familiar with the AMPP Audit process and checklists. The candidate should be able to conduct internal audits and coordinate and attend the field audit. Familiar with QC software and/or other auditing software. Strong Microsoft Office suite skills. Ability to communicate through both written and verbal communication. 1-2 years experience with coatings or in the construction industry. Ability to travel to jobsites to conduct QC audits when needed. All employment at Superior is contingent upon successfully completing a drug screen and background check.
