SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Adhesive Coater Operator operates an adhesive coater, betagauges, and controlling devices according to specifications ≺ocedures This position requires a SILVER Work Keys score
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Otherduties may be assigned. o Operates any of the three coaters following safety rules, workinstructions and specifications o Coordinates draining of the adhesive lines with Mixing Departmentfollowing established procedures when changing products o Selects loads appropriate product recipes on wonderware and betagauge control screens, and operates beta gauge, valves, and levelcontrols o Takes simple measurements o Reads/operates gauges and meters o Observes material and adhesive coating for defects and possibleproblems as it is being processed o Communicates processing or quality problems to the QA Lineperson,Coating Lead Person, or Coating Shift Manager o Performs preventative maintenance inspections o Reads and follows production schedules, work instructions,specifications, and safety rules o Adjusts adhesive and/or backsize weights across web by use ofcontrolling devices o Performs tests and analyzes data to ensure compliance withspecifications & quality requirements o Assists with departmental safety and housekeeping programs o Enters – data into SAP and/or forms as may be required
