The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for verifying that our completed truck bodies meet customer and engineered requirements.

Duties:

• Inspect completed truck bodies for workmanship, completeness, cosmetics and function.
• Perform in-process inspections of components, assemblies and coatings
• Inspect electrical work and electronics for workmanship and function
• Perform tests such as DOT and FMVSS certifications (training provided by AMH)
• Coordinate corrective actions with production team
• Provide technical support to the production team

Requirements:

1. Previous Quality Control inspection experience in a metal fabrication or vehicle upfitter 2. Experience and abilities with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers and coating devices (thickness, adhesion) 3. Experience in vehicle electrical and electronics including wiring, lights and devices 4. Excellent eyesight (natural or corrected) to perform cosmetic inspections 5. Strong attention to detail 6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must speak English clearly to provide technical information to production and support teams. 8. Must be able to work and walk in a manufacturing environment, including around production equipment and stairs. Must be able to wear PPE for eye, ear and foot protection.
