Job Description
Quality Inspector 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 3626 Dallas High Shoals Highway, Dallas, NC 28034 Fab-Tec has an excellent opportunity for an experience Quality Inspector to join our team. The idea candidate will have previous quality experience in a machining and fabrication environment, be organized, detail-oriented and driven. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Document and report any quality issues or non-conformances to the appropriate department. Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, confirming re-work. Fill out job travelers, time sheets, inspection documents and any other paperwork associated with the part. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database. Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests and quality metrics.
Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent A minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality inspecting in a machining and fabrication environment required. Previous experience with quality systems and standards such as
ISO 9001.
Must own tools for daily tasks (i.e. micrometers, calipers, edge finders, etc.) preferred Read and interpret blueprints and work order instructions. Forklift certified. Working knowledge of computers. Basic math skills. Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and work from handmade sketches. Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills. Ability to work well in a fast pace work environment. Pay:
18.00 + (depending on experience)
