Certerra/ Insight Group has an immediate opening for a full-time Construction Professional based in Greensboro, NC. The position is best for someone interested working in a fast-paced consultant environment, capable of effectively working as part of a collaborative team.

Duties:

As part of an experience team, you will apply your testing and inspection to a variety of projects. Applicants shall have an education or professional background in construction inspection services and have experience evaluating soils, concrete, and asphalt, as they relate to site construction. Report writing and computer skills are required. Experience in airfield pavement construction, landfill construction quality control/ assurance is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Management of construction materials projects, including proposals and reports preparation. Likely management of field staff. Field and laboratory testing of construction materials. Maintaining required certifications. Review of daily field/ data reports. Ability to life 40-50 pounds. Coordinating with clients and Certerra/ Insight Group engineering and professional staff. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting deadlines. Travel to client facilities as needed. Report writing and computer skills. Client management and business development. Financial responsibilities for materials testing and inspection projects.

Education/ Qualifications:

3 years of materials testing or construction experience. High School Diploma (preferred).

Licenses:

Valid Drivers license. ACI Certification.
