QA/QC Inspector Job Description We are seeking two highly skilled QA/QC Inspectors to join our team in the Greensboro/Raleigh region. The ideal candidates will possess at least one of the following certifications: AWS, ACI, AISC, or API. The role requires experience in industrial welding, concrete, or electrical construction, along with the ability to interpret standard codes and conduct job site inspections and audits. Strong analytical skills and excellent computer proficiency are essential, as is familiarity with expository writing styles. Good interpersonal skills and possibly training experience are also important. Responsibilities Perform and document inspection and surveillance activities. Review specifications, drawings, and reports to ensure quality requirements are translated into work instructions. Review incoming materials for compliance with customer contracts and purchase orders in accordance with ASME Codes and other relevant standards. Conduct receipt inspection processes and oversee welding processes, including welder and weld procedure qualification. Capable of being certified Level II in
VT, PT, MT & UTT
methods and mechanical inspection activities. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 to 5 years of inspection experience with Quality Assurance. Experience with industrial welding, concrete, or electrical construction. Ability to interpret standard codes and conduct job site inspections and audits. Excellent computer skills. Analytical skills and familiarity with expository writing styles. Good interpersonal skills.

Work Environment The work environment includes office, shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses with exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Candidates must be able to safely access all areas of the property and effectively use required PPE equipment. The role involves standing and kneeling for long hours during inspections and lifting up to 50 lbs. The ability to work day or night shifts is required.
