Quality Manager Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Description + Lead a team of QA inspectors to perform quality gate inspections on coaches, covering all stages from car shell welding to finishing and final assembly. + Coordinate inspections with production teams and customer resident inspectors. + Serve as the escalation point of contact for production quality issues. + Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality component of the Integrated Management System, in alignment with the quality strategy and local regulations. + Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and corrective action plans. + Conduct regular training sessions for QA inspectors to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest quality standards and procedures. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. + Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify and suggest process enhancements. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous supervisory experience. + Previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. + A continuous improvement mindset. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Proficiency in quality management systems and tools Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 – $115000.00/hr.
