Summary/Objective:
The Inspector position tends to a full inspection of select carriers in the Robot Department Weld process for metal structures, inspecting part for various criteria, to ensure we deliver the highest level of quality to the customer. Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Essential Functions:
Remove carrier from conveyor and fully inspect part to ensure all parts meet the customers’ requirements. Load completed parts on rack, Label rack with part series and next process. Push rack to staging area. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) principles and practices of the inspector function. Reworkable, repairable, or any damaged parts must be contained in the Non-Conformance area awaiting designate skilled rework specialist. May occasionally need to fill in the cleaner brusher/finisher positions due to absenteeism . Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner Communicate with other departments as necessary Keep work areas clean and organized Adhere to all company rules and policies Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
