The primary purpose of this role is to work closely with the AuditManager, Senior Auditor II, and project teams by activelyparticipating in planning, developing and executing of audittesting, and preparing inputs to written communication anddeliverables for audit engagements involving the use of dataanalytic skills, process analysis, and critical thinking. Inaddition, this role is responsible for delivering oral or writtenreports and communications to clients and assists in training lessexperiences auditors. Overall, this role will assist in audits thatevaluate the effectiveness of internal controls established tomanage Lowe’s most significant risks. What You Will Do Identifies and documents weaknesses in control design and processesthat do not comply with regulations, laws, and standards or do notcomply with the organization’s policies and operatingprocedures Performs survey data work and conduct analysis to detect deficientcontrols, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliancewith laws, regulations, and management policies Develops visio process flow charts analyzing processes and workpapers from risk assessment and testing controls, documentingresults according to audit methodologies Project management responsibilities for smaller projects throughday-to-day project management, by discussing expectations with theteam, maintaining consistent communication throughout the auditengagement, and through reviewing Staff Auditor summarization ofaudit findings and results Manages client relationships to ensure project timelines are metand reports audit exceptions and other concerns to auditmanagement Participates in rotational committee work such as the internalquality reviews, issue follow up, training coordination, andquarterly risk assessment to gain extensive knowledge andexperience in key audit functional areas Individual Contributor Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 Years 3 years Experience ininternal/external audit or relevant business experience.
