We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician who doesn’t just inspect parts, but thinks critically, solves problems, and takes pride in doing things right. This role goes beyond surface-level checks; it’s about ensuring race-ready quality through methodical inspection, technical skill, and relentless curiosity.

What You’ll Do:

Perform meticulous manual measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators
Operate and collect data with Faro and Romer arms, with emphasis on Hexagon Romer hardware and software (e.g., Power Inspect)
Execute inspection plans designed by our Quality Control Engineer, including First Article and In-Process Inspections
Accurately document inspection results, track part compliance, and assist in maintaining quality traceability
Identify and troubleshoot issues with inspection equipment or process anomalies, working toward root-cause—not just quick fixes
Contribute feedback to improve inspection workflows, measurement repeatability, and equipment calibration

What You Bring:

High School diploma or equivalent: Required
Associate or Bachelor’s degree: Preferred
Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or precision measurement (motorsports or manufacturing preferred)
Proficiency with Romer arms required; Hexagon software experience is a strong plus
Solid computer skills are essential, with some exposure to programming (VBA, Python, etc.) considered a plus
Knowledge of GD&T, part tolerancing, and blueprint interpretation
A hands-on mindset with mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn
Experience with PC-DMIS on CMM & Vision considered a plus
