Role:

TheQuality Inspectoris responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing the site specific Quality Plan and ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with all applicable requirements, regulations, and codes. Reports directly to the Site Quality Manager.

Duties:

• Direct and coordinate quality control operations for the project including field execution, and material suitability.
• Conduct testing and inspections and arrange for third party testing and inspections.

Analyze and report results. § Visual inspections of piping, tanks, vessels, structural steel, pumps, equipment and concrete. § Dye Penetrant inspections of piping, tanks, vessels, structural steel, pumps, equipment and concrete. § Ultrasonic inspections of piping, tanks, vessels, structural steel, pumps, equipment and concrete.

• Track KPI’s and prepare monthly reports.
• Direct removal and replacement of and document all non-compliant materials and workmanship. Document compliance after corrective work is completed.
• Monitor quality control program for compliance with both P&G and Bilfinger policies and procedures.
• Work closely with superintendents to ensure the job is running parallel to the planning, methods and performance developed through the project bidding and planning function.
• Develop and monitor execution of welding repair plans.
• Maintain a liaison with P&G’s on-site quality assurance personnel.
• Support site craft leadership, including interfacing with engineering for E.I. changes and compliance issues.
• Maintain a liaison with local AI and coordinate any code work at the site.
• Develop, plan, schedule, and coordinate all NDE testing at the site.
• Work with Project Planning staff to develop scope and schedule for project packages.
• Coordinate and monitor passivation including compliance with all applicable environmental, safety, and quality standards.
• Be familiar with and execute field work in accordance with applicable safety rules, regulations, and requirements.
• Be familiar with and execute field work in accordance with quality specifications, testing requirements, and applicable code requirements.
• Participate in job walks, CDS, constructability reviews to provide input to planning group, engineering group, and project team on constructability, savings, and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in construction turnover and punch list walk-throughs with the plant.
