Schaefer Plastics is hiring a Receiving Quality Inspector to ensure that our incoming materials meet high-quality standards. You’ll work independently in our receiving warehouse, inspect high-volume shipments using blueprints and basic measurement tools, and help us keep production running smoothly.
What You’ll Do :
Inspect components like axles, wheels, and lift bars for quality compliance Measure samples using basic tools and compare results to engineering drawings Log data in Excel, report discrepancies in a timely manner, and ensure seamless, professional communication with vendors Operate a forklift to manage materials (certification required or provided) Help us improve quality from the ground up in a newly created position!
What You Bring :
Detail-focused mindset and strong organizational skills Solid Excel skills (data entry, file naming, basic formatting) Ability to interpret technical documents/blueprints Previous experience in inspection or warehouse receiving roles preferred Self-motivated and capable of working independently Why Schaefer Plastics?
