Overview Engine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Rocky Mount. NC location. Responsibilities Perform a variety of duties to independently perform dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing, and test inspection of diversified components, assemblies and completed systems that are fabricated, installed and shipped in compliance with Engineering approved designs. Ensure quality detailed inspection is in compliance with applicable standards and technical data. Record applicable data and maintain documents associated with job functions. Generate, write and close nonconformance reports as required. Perform internal and external inspections as needed. Participate in the resolution of corrective actions and verification of actions implemented Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, blueprints, schematics and technical data. Firm understanding and use of precision measuring devices and techniques needed to measure component characteristics. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Oracle experience preferred Working knowledge with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required. Experienced with CMM equipment is a plus, but not required. High school diploma required.
