South-Tek Systems is a leading manufacturer of Mission Critical nitrogen generation systems for industrial process, commercial, and military applications. South-Tek’s innovative products and systems deliver Expertise, Control and Performance for our customers, enabling them to generate nitrogen on-premise, reducing costs while ensuring reliability and safety. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Technician that will ensure that our equipment meets customer expectations and adheres to all applicable regulatory requirements. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for testing finished units, helping to write inspection test methods, aiding in assembly verifications, and ensuring product compliance to engineering and customer specifications. The position will interact with many different levels including managers from all relevant functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Blueprint Reading and determining if equipment meets the specification of the blueprint Visual inspection looking for incorrectly assembled units and visual defects Measuring equipment: able to read thread gages, verniers, tape measure and do math for dimensional accuracy Functional testing: hook up equipment to air lines, measuring instruments, pressure sensors flow meters and purity detection equipment Tuning, setting equipment valves, and program parameters to meet customer specifications Technical writing, filling out testing evaluations specification sheets based on measurement results Documentation preparation for shipment: manuals, certifications, and test reports Computer skills to enter data into spreadsheets, test reports, and tracking systems.

Qualifications:

Assembly experience working in plumbing, mechanical assembly and pressurized gas systems 3 – 5 years’ hands-on experience as a quality technician or quality evaluator Computer skills and ability to enter data into systems Diagnostic skills, able to evaluate and follow a logical sequence of steps to find issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both as an individual and within a team Strong process mindset with curiosity and drive to seek & implement process improvement Solid conflict resolution and problem-solving skills A strong analytical mindset with outstanding organizational skills Able to pass a background check Able to pass a drug screening evaluation Apply with updated resume today to join our team!
