AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to fill an opening with a company in Mayodan, NC. The ideal candidate should be familiar with

ISO/IATF 16949

requirements, manuals, and where to find information when needed. Benefits of the

Quality Inspector:

Sunday-Saturday.
8:00pm-8:00am.

Pay:

$18.00-$18.50. Responsibility of the

Quality Inspector:

Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare production parts to the standard by performing hourly process inspections (hourly audits).
Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
Ensures all rejected parts are segregated appropriately by following the Control of Nonconforming Outputs Procedure.
Document defects on the rejection sheet.
Collect all rejection sheets at the end of the shift from the operators and turn them in.
Completes production sheets.
Ensure all paperwork is filled in accurately.
Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner.
Keep communication open with fellow quality technicians, quality manager, plant manager, quality engineer and production coordinator.
Keep the quality area organized and clean.
Attend weekly shift meetings.

Requirements:

Requirements of the

Quality Inspector:

Hight School diploma or equivalent.
Understand company quality policy. Always Have copy within easy access.
Familiar with

ISO/IATF 16949

requirements, manuals, where to find information when needed.
Familiar with how your job is relevant and important and contributes to the achievement of quality objectives of the company.
