Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to perform physical testing on production and requested samples in accordance with required test methods. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining accurate lab records while supporting overall product quality.
Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Conduct physical testing on fabrics following ASTM, Federal, Military, AATCC, company, and customer test methods. Accurately enter test data into the database and communicate results to relevant personnel. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment periodically. Keep organized lab records, including storage of records and sample retains, per procedure. Respond to inquiries regarding test results and factors influencing outcomes. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of lab experience (required). At least 2 years of experience in a quality function. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data. Intermediate computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with SAP and Axxos (preferred). Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively in a team-oriented environment.
