HS Diploma/GED or Equivalent Position Summary The Quality Inspector will conduct mechanical and visual inspections of assemblies and components, collaborating with internal teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Quality Assurance . This role requires interaction with external customer representatives to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings, quality standards, and contract requirements. Verify completed assemblies meet design, testing, and marking specifications . Ensure data plates/tags are correctly marked and test reports meet all documented requirements. Identify and document nonconforming items , working closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams for resolution. Maintain equipment and supplies to uphold 6S workplace standards . Assist in other quality-related tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1-2 years of experience in inspection . Proficiency in

MT, VT, & PT

(Magnetic Particle Testing, Visual Testing, and Penetrant Testing). Willingness to obtain additional certifications as required. Knowledge of inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, plug/thread gauges). Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately. Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) . Basic computer skills and problem-solving ability . EHS awareness (Environmental Health & Safety). Availability for overtime work .

Education:

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.
