Job Description

Director, Validation & Quality Systems 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 4000 Westchase Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27607 This position will execute technical and functional responsibilities related to Quality support activities on project assignments and administrative functions (i.e., planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating, and executing division or project assignments). This position may serve as the Office Quality Manager for a Major Execution Office or the Project Quality Manager for medium- to large-sized projects, if necessary. Communicate effectively at all levels order to maintain liaison with individuals and units within or outside the department or project structures Employ decision-making authority and recommendations that have a significant impact on regional or business line Quality policies and programs Serve as the project Quality Representative on medium to large projects, if necessary Prepare project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective action Assist in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required Act as lead Quality auditor and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions • Other duties as assigned• Oversee technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of regional and offices personnel Serve as project Quality Manager on large projects, if necessary Serve as the office Quality Manager, if necessary Maintain Quality function records Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) in offices for which responsibility is allocated Other duties as assigned Notice to

Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-four (24) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred Advanced degree in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferred Professional engineering registration preferred Auditor certification by outside agency (e.g., Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), American Society for Quality (ASQ), International Quality Associates (IQA), etc.) preferred Internal Lead Auditor certification required Twelve (12) years of related Quality/project experience Good interpersonal and communication skills Good leadership and decision-making skills Salary Range 160,000 to 302,000 Market Rate The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
