This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of repackaged medications across various formats, from a pharmaceutical quality control perspective.

Responsibilities:

Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of repackaged medications, in accordance with pharmaceutical quality control standards. Obtain necessary approvals for moving products to the next phase of processing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Review necessary records and conduct thorough inspections of each type of pharmaceutical and/or OTC product, adhering to strict quality control protocols. Identify and report any quality control issues to the supervisor, taking proactive measures to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation. Conducts Master Repackaging Record review meetings as required, ensuring all repackaging activities are documented and meet quality standards. Conducts internal audits for the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality control standards. Conducts in-process checks to ensure AQLs are being performed properly. Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical quality control guidelines and regulations and ensure adherence to these standards in all aspects of the repackaging.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform light lifting and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to stand for extended periods of time if necessary. Good organizational skills, visual acuity, and basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in computer hardware & PC Windows. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in a relevant field. Pharmacy Technician Certification. Previous experience in pharmaceutical repackaging, quality control, hospital, or healthcare settings.

Salary:

Salary range commensurate with experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays. Background Check and Drug Test are required for employment.
