Program Integrity Quality Assurance Reviewer Wake County Government Raleigh, NC 27610 What You’ll Be Doing Join #TeamWake as a Program Integrity Quality Assurance Reviewer! The Program Integrity Quality Assurance Reviewer plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and compliance of public assistance programs through qualitative audits, training, and continuous quality improvement. This position ensures accuracy in case handling, fosters professional development among staff, and serves as a policy expert and consultant. As a Quality Assurance Reviewer you’ll: Conduct qualitative audits on referrals processed by Department Program Auditors to assess established and unsubstantiated claims of fraud, misuse, and abuse across all Economic Services Section (ESS) benefit programs, including Food and Nutrition Services (FNS), Medicaid, Child Care Subsidy, Energy Assistance, Housing, and Special Assistance Review disqualification processes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Implement and maintain a plan to randomly sample and review cases for quality and consistency Provide coaching and targeted training based on audit findings and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) outcomes Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs, including curriculum, job aids, and eLearning content for new and current Program Integrity staff Ensure all training aligns with federal and state policies, and reflects current Program Integrity procedures and expectations Serve as a consultant for Department Program Auditors and agency staff, offering guidance on federal, state, and county regulations related to Program Integrity, especially within NC FAST and Lotus Notes (OnBase) Proactively update training materials and methods to enhance staff performance and program compliance. Monitor and interpret policy changes at both the state and federal levels to ensure timely and accurate implementation, especially regarding overpayment periods Participate in policy update meetings, training sessions, audits, and webinars to stay current on evolving standards Communicate effectively with other program staff by delivering presentations and sharing updates relevant to Program Integrity About Our Team Wake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) is the consolidation of programs and services that include social services, public health, job search assistance, child support, and transportation. The Basics (Required Education and Experience) Bachelor’s degree Two years of job-related experience Equivalent education and experience are accepted Please include ALL prior work experience on your application and resume.
