Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Quality Control/Assurance Associate is responsible for supporting quality operations through inspections, documentation review, and process verification for repackaged pharmaceuticals and OTC products. This role ensures products meet quality and compliance standards, supports data management and auditing, and assists in quality assurance initiatives across multiple product types including oral solids, liquids, vials, syringes, and kitted products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on repackaged pharmaceutical products to ensure accuracy and compliance. Review and complete documentation to support batch records, quality audits, and process controls. Support and perform QA paper audits and assist with responses to supplier quality notifications. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of processing and QA equipment, including routine troubleshooting. Gather data and report metrics related to quality and process performance. Identify and report quality issues and deviations to the QA Manager or Supervisor. Work collaboratively with QA staff and production teams to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns. Ensure compliance with GMP and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Pharmacy Technician Certification (state-specific as applicable) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring visual acuity Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic math skills and working knowledge of PC Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work independently
Preferred:
Associate’s Degree or higher 1+ years of QA/QC experience in pharmaceutical, GMP, or other regulated industries Experience in pharmaceutical repackaging, hospital, or healthcare settings Familiarity with regulated documentation practices and audit procedures
