Construction Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to support our construction projects by ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our work through audits, inspections, documentation, and reporting. Responsibilities + Conduct regular audits and inspections on construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards. + Perform specification checks on materials and workmanship to verify compliance with engineering drawings and client requirements. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. + Prepare and submit quality reports to project managers and stakeholders. + Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives. + Support internal and external audits, including client and regulatory inspections. + Ensure all quality control procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Skills + Construction management + Quality assurance + Construction + Audit + Inspection + General contractor + Project coordination Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in construction, engineering, or quality management preferred. + 2+ years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within a construction or EPCM environment. + Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards. + Familiarity with ISO standards and QA/QC documentation practices. + Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software. + Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes. + Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, OSHA). + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Work Environment On-site at large pharma project in Sanford. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.87 – $48.08/hr.
