Quality Inspector 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Knightdale, NC Job Description We’re seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of electrical or mechanical systems, this role is for you. 1st shift: 6am to 4:45pm.
Pay Rate:
$18-24/hr. Temp to Perm. Monday to Friday (Saturdays depending on business needs). Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections of electrical work and components. Perform quality testing and validation using gauges, measurement tools, and test equipment. Maintain accurate documentation and photo records for inspections and quality control. Support engineering, quality events, and safety team activities. Review and follow all protocols related to CLIENT’s ISO9001:2015 Quality System. Investigate and report non-conformances, assist in corrective actions and continuous improvement. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with customer and project requirements. Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (required). Familiarity with industrial safety standards and quality inspection procedures. Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and specifications (including NEC standards). Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel). Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and adapt to different environments and schedules. Comfortable climbing, crawling, and standing for extended periods.
