PositionSummary:
- Responsible for performing numerous tasks onrecently-slaughtered turkeys or tasks that support the overalloperations within the department.
Essential Duties, Functions andresponsibilities:
Perform various tasks to include repetitive manuallabor to debone meat from the turkeys.
Some jobs are performed withthe assistance of tools or other equipment while other jobs areperformed by hand.
Observes equipment operation, notifyingappropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safetyissues/concerns.
Will be required to rotate to various functionswithin the processing department.
Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:
Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies andguidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to workin a fast paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively andfollow verbal and written instructions & policies.
Must be able towork in a team atmosphere.
Must be able to work at line speed uponcompletion of training period.
Accountable to maintain punctual andregular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Must be willing andable to perform physical requirements of the job with or withoutreasonable accommodation.
Must be at least 18 years of age andlegally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass abackground check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
