As aQuality Technician, you will have an opportunity to help ourclients reduce their environmental footprint on the planet. 1stshift 7:00am to 3:30pm Concord, MA Responsibilities Inspect andapprove incoming material by confirming specifications, conductingvisual and measurement tests, manufactured parts for conformity toblueprints, specifications, and standards. Inspect a variety ofunits using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g., micrometers,gauges, and calipers) with proper inspection techniques. Makedecisions regarding product acceptance per product documentationand company workmanship criteria. Document inspection activities onappropriate inspection records. Read, interpret, and utilizeQuality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation.

Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) and forms to ensurecompliance with requirements. Plan and perform internal processaudits. Support the preparation of operational procedures andinstructions in accordance with

ISO 9001, 2015/IATF

16949requirements. Assist with generating and submitting Production PartApproval Process (PPAP) packages per AIAG guidelines. Performdimensional inspections, capability studies, Gauge R&R studies,and audits as needed to support quality concerns, APQP and PPAP.Participate in corrective action teams to identify the root causeof a problem and implement effective corrective actions. Maintaintransactions related to inspection and nonconforming processes.

Participate in quality improvement projects for products andprocesses. Education/Experience Associate’s degree from anaccredited university or college in a technical field or a highschool diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in amanufacturing quality environment preferred. Knowledge of blueprintreading/Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T). Capable ofperforming gage studies. Basic AIAG and related quality systemknowledge of

ISO 9001, 2015/IATF

16949, and

ISO 14001

stronglydesired. Understanding of 5S discipline (simplify, separate,sanitize, standardize and support) and lean six sigma preferred.

Able to maintain confidentiality on products, services, andprocesses.
