As an Inspector you will:
Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawingsusing calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gages, gageblocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspectionequipment. Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies usingmicroscopes & magnifiers. Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reportswhen required. Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via writtendiscrepancy reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians(SQE/SQT). Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers. Participate in MRB meetings to support SQE/SQT’s. Accurately maintain records and documents in accordance withpolicies and procedures Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrologytools. Identify Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures.
Present nominations to SQE. Work closely with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturingengineers, quality engineers and program leadership. Support SQE/SQT with routine supplier audits when required.
Basic Qualification:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6years of prior relevant experience or 2 yearspost-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of priorrelated experience. Desired (not required)

Experience maintaining records and documents in accordance withpolicies and procedures
