ABOUT THE JOB
The Quality Inspector will spend most of their day reading technical drawings and specifications, and use standard metrology devices such as digital calipers and micrometers
Perform audits of the manufacturing and quality control processes to ensurepliance of our operations, and assist in the correction of nonconformity found
Inspect products as assigned, utilizing proper inspection equipment
Assist in containment activitypletion or audit as assigned
Complete administrative work associated with documentation of issues and their corrective actions
Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders. 2nd Shift – 3:00pm – 11:30pm, possibly 1st 7:00am-3:30pm
ABOUT YOU
Quality experience preferred
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, with one or more years involved with inspection
Ability to read and interpret basic product drawings in English
Experience standard metrology devices such as digital calipers and micrometers
Must be able to effectively understand andmunicate process/product requirements and have the ability to interface with all departments
Must have drive, intelligence, and high expectations of getting results through self and team
Must be proficient withmon PC applications: Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Must have goodmunication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
Basic reading, math,puter, and measurement skills required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
