T/C Arms Quality Inspector Thompson Center Arms Farmington, NH 03835

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a formalized ISO Quality Management System and the ability to perform inspections independently. This role involves conducting first-piece and final inspections, maintaining proper documentation, assisting in the creation of inspection procedures, and writing non-conformance reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the implementation of a formalized Quality Management system Perform and process first-piece and final inspections in accordance with the Quality Management System. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspection results. Assist in developing and updating inspection procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards. Write non-conformance reports and support corrective action processes as required. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize standard measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers, and gages to verify product specifications. Work independently while collaborating with the quality and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience working within an ISO-regulated Quality Management System. CMM/Micro-Vu experience desired. Proficiency in using standard measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers, and gages. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and troubleshoot quality issues. Ability to document detailed inspection results accurately. ASQ certification is a plus. Firearms manufacturing experience is a plus. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Quality Inspector.
