We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Weighmaster to join our team in Newport, New Jersey. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our materials handling and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Operate truck scales to accurately weigh inbound and outbound materials, issue and verify weight tickets, and ensure compliance with state and federal weight regulations. Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, plant personnel, customers, and vendors; answer phone calls and perform clerical work including processing invoices and scanning tickets. Maintain accurate records, assist with inventory tracking, and troubleshoot and maintain scale equipment and software. Train and support junior weighmasters and scale house staff Promote a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications Ability to obtain a valid Weighmaster license (New Jersey) if not already licensed Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and possess good interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a weighmaster, scale software, logistics, or materials handling role Experience in the construction materials or aggregates industry Familiarity with Citrix and JWS for ticketing Supervisory or training experience is a plus.
