Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Clifton, NJ. Interested? Here’s what you’d do: Responsible for identifying and documenting quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products. Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions. Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes. Oversees testing department activities and the work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags. Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures. Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of the job area.
Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for their own job area.
Communicates with contacts inside and outside the own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results. Here’s what you’ll get:

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of experience with working in an ESD environment.
Minimum 3 years of Inspection experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience with print structures to determine ‘as built’ vs ‘as designed’ configurations. Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand complex mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and Engineering sketches, and the Ability to read and write in English. Able to use instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and height gages to measure and evaluate parts dimensions. Also needs the ability to use computers and microscopes.
Working Knowledge of GDMT.
General understanding of IPC Standards.
Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Able to adjust/pivot and be flexible, while staying on task.
IPC 10 Certification.
