Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated Incoming Inspection Technician to join their esteemed team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all purchased materials and sub-assemblies meet the stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements essential for medical device applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our client’s products, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections on purchased materials and sub-assemblies for medical device applications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Measure parts, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies using appropriate tools and fixtures as per approved procedures.
Perform Quality Inspection tasks in SAP for accurate inventory control.
Document test data and observations accurately, maintaining both paperwork and electronic records.
Review vendor certificates and inspection data to ensure compliance with specifications.
Provide input for improving inspection procedures and participate in audits.

Skills Required:

2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing setting, preferably in a regulated environment.
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T.
Knowledge of metrology, materials, calibration, and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with

ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 / GMP / GDP

standards.
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a plus.
