Preferably with aerospace or geothermal industry experience. Quality Inspector Job Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for meticulously examining manufactured parts and materials to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Utilizing a range of precision tools and instruments, they conduct thorough inspections, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain adherence to quality control protocols and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Monday•Friday | 7am•3:30pm

Pay:

$19•$25 per hour Quality Inspector Responsibilities Thoroughly inspect manufactured parts, materials, or products to ensure they meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. Utilize various measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to perform accurate measurements and assessments. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality control documents to understand inspection requirements and criteria. Record inspection results, including measurements, deviations from specifications, and any non-conformities detected, in detailed reports or databases. Provide value to our customers by using Lean tools and concepts to identify and eliminate waste in all forms (scrap/rework, transportation, motion, waiting, inventory, over production, over processing, and under-utilization of people). Uses systemic thinking by seeing processes from end to end and works to challenge the status quo to eliminate the root cause of problems. Quality Inspector Qualifications High School Diploma/ Equivalent. Prefer prior experience in Mechanical Quality Inspection. Experience in a manufacturing, or working in a similar environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and inspection standards. The ability to troubleshoot issues with CMM equipment, measurement programs, or part quality is critical.
