Job Description
Senior Quality Control Specialist Hopewell Precision inc 19M Ryan Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of QA/QC processes, familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AWS , and the ability to utilize various inspection tools and systems effectively. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Implement and maintain quality control processes in accordance with CGMP regulations. Perform visual inspections using vision inspection systems to identify defects or non-conformities. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality metrics. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in internal audits and assist in maintaining ISO certification requirements. Support the fabrication process by providing feedback on quality improvements. Requirements Proven experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards, including ISO 9001, , and
AWS WELDING STANDARDS.
Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and vision inspection systems. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout all stages of production.
