Job Description
Description Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that materials (supplied or manufactured) and processesconform to their stated requirements through electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections. Performspractical assignments of a technical substance and records results electronically with a high degree ofaccuracy. Essential Functions
- Functional testing: functionally test procured and manufactured material using established testsystems and procedures. Perform testing at the expected rate if it is established for that testingactivity or work center. Use and application of test equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, Depthgauges DMM’s, Pantone Color Guide, Cirris, etc.
- Electronic documentation review and record keeping: Review of electronic order entries to verifythat order, production, vendor, routing, and goods movement transactions are correct throughextensive interaction with ERP system.
Properly record inspection results, usage decisions, routingadditions, and non-conforming situations electronically in ERP system. In-depth understanding ofCurbell drawings and specifications across all product families. Creation of Quality Notificationsincluding writing detailed problem descriptions.

Inspection:
Conduct receiving inspection to determine if visual, labelling, dimensional, and otherspecifications of the material are met. Inspection of all customer returns

Support:
Provide support in executing requirements of established systems. Understanding of ECOsystem to research USE disposition of old revisions. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for longperiods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
- Ability to identify and distinguish between colors
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 35 pounds
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical measuring processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Practical understanding of RFC system
- Ability to use Windows and SAP based software, and enter data with a high degree of accuracy ∁uter aptitude
- Ability to operate common test equipment (ie, calipers, micrometers, indicators, digital multimeters,etc.
