- Treat others how you want to be treated About the Role As a Quality Control Technician , you’re the frontline guardian of food safety and product integrity at Giovanni Foods.
In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you’ll work directly on the production floor, performing critical quality checks, and also spend time documenting results and collaborating with the team behind the scenes. This job blends physical activity with technical precision—you’ll be testing batches, interacting with operators, checking packaging specs, and troubleshooting in real time. If you like the idea of being up and moving while also keeping detailed records and making smart, fast decisions, this role offers the best of both worlds. What You’ll Do Evaluate in-process and finished products to verify they meet quality specs Perform Bostwick, brix, and pH testing—and alert process leaders to any deviations Conduct line checks for temperature, capper steam, label accuracy, cap alignment, and glass integrity Verify batch flavors and finished goods against product standards Calibrate and maintain quality lab instruments Document and analyze data to support food safety programs Promote GMPs, safety, and regulatory compliance in your work and across the team Support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Work closely with operators, warehouse staff, and mechanics to uphold quality standards Why It Matters Our products go on family dinner tables—and your work ensures every jar is consistent, compliant, and delicious.
