We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-Line Knit Apparel Cutting & Sewing Quality Inspector to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of knit garments throughout the sewing process, identifying defects, and working closely with sewing operators and supervisors to maintain high-quality standards. •

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit and travel to Outside contractors Perform continuous in-line inspections of knit apparel during the Cutting & Sewing process. Check seams, stitching, measurements, labels, trims, and overall construction quality. Identify, Document and report sewing defects such as skipped stitches, puckering, uneven seams, and fabric flaws. Provide real-time feedback to sewing operators and suggest corrections. Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections and report findings daily. Conduct spot checks on finished garments as needed. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues. •

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of knit fabric properties, garment construction, and sewing techniques. Minimum of 2 years experience in quality inspection in knit garment manufacturing. Bilingual (e.g., English and Spanish) is a PLUS & an advantage. Familiarity with quality control standards in the apparel industry (AQL, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
