Description:

The Quality Control Specialist plays a dual role in both production and quality assurance, dedicating half of each workday to hands-on fabrication and the other half to final inspection of fixed and removable dental restorations. The Quality Control specialist ensures all cases meet the highest standards through standardized evaluation protocols, including the use of ATD and BonaDent checklists, visual standards, and digital documentation.

Requirements:

Quality Inspection Process Dedicated QC inspection area free from production equipment Implementation of standardized evaluation using: ATD comprehensive checklists BonaDent Visual Standards and QC Checklists Digital documentation with reference images Quality Management Document and categorize defects by type, severity, and technician Return work requiring correction to the Team Lead/Manager with specific improvement notes Maintain a daily kickback log with detailed feedback for technician development Weekly tracking of rejection rates via Magic Touch QC rating function Monthly quality trend analysis to identify systemic issues Continuous Improvement Weekly quality review meetings with production team leaders Monthly calibration sessions to ensure consistent standards application Quarterly review of quality standards and inspection procedures Participation in new product development and testing Performance Metrics Reduction in customer returns/complaints (target: 25% improvement in first 6 months) Department inspection consistency rate (target: >95% agreement between specialists) Production efficiency impact measurement (target: minimal impact on turnaround time) Customer satisfaction scores related to quality (target: 15% improvement)
