Role:
The QC Inspector/Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications before they reach the market. This position involves conducting thorough inspections of materials and finished products, utilizing various measuring devices to assess compliance with established criteria. Additionally, the role encompasses administrative responsibilities, including maintaining accurate records of inspections and quality reports. The successful candidate will collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement quality control measures. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall efficiency and reputation of the manufacturing process by ensuring high-quality outputs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with measuring devices and quality control methodologies. Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field. Certification in quality control or quality assurance. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize measuring devices and tools to assess product specifications and identify any defects or inconsistencies. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, quality reports, and any corrective actions taken. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols. Provide administrative support to the quality control department, including scheduling inspections and coordinating with other departments.
