Quality Inspector Position Available In Delaware, Pennsylvania

Quality Inspector Ainsley Search Group Aston, PA 19014 Ainsley Search Group is actively hiring for a Quality Specialist to join a Global Aerospace Components Manufacturer located in Aston, PA, near the Philadelphia International Airport. This Quality Specialist will report to the Quality Manager and perform visual Inspection, documentation, materials release on receiving, in-process assembly, and finished products, to reduce non-conformance through root cause analysis, CAPA, document quality control reports. (Shift Time is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 am to 4 pm)

Responsibilities:

Report to Quality Manager and perform visual inspection, quality control, documentation on receiving, in-process and finished products based on customer specifications and blueprints. Perform in-process electromechanical inspection throughout production, develop inspection plans, and validate quality processes based on customer specifications, measure and monitor assembly process, document inspection results and reports. Perform finished good inspection using mechanical & measuring tools and visual inspection, perform factory acceptance test on finished products and document inspection result and provide final approval before shipping to customers. Support internal audits, in-house functional test and travel to vendor for vendor testing as needed. Support, drive and initiate root cause analysis, implement corrective action to drive improvement and reduce non-conformance. Assist customers with final inspection and quality checks as required, perform calibration on inspection tools and followed establish procedure. Provide hands on support and training to other inspectors on inspection plan, process, procedure and corrective action, etc.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, higher education desired. Recent 3-10 years of work experience as a Mechanical Inspector, Quality Inspector, CMM Inspector within defense manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication environments. Knowledge with GD&T, and knowledge of CMM programming and operations, experience with

FARO CMM

desired. Strong mechanical aptitude required. Must possess ability to understand engineering drawings and blueprints. Proficient with inspection instrument, hand tools and power tools. Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadline with minimum supervision. Able to pass background check and drug screen. Reliable transportation to and from work.
