JOB SUMMARY
Ensure egg and chick health by conducting a variety of quality monitoring duties. Follow and enforce strict biosecurity protocols. This is a shower-facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Incoming egg inspection and weights Bacteria and mold testing Audit machine, room, and egg temperatures Verify machine are working properly through daily monitoring Egg breakout and chick length measurements Water Testing Pre-Op checks M-Tech data entry Monitoring areas for Animal Welfare Fill-in as needed to support hatchery labor. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
: High School education or GED. Some post high school education preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
